The Seal Rap Video!

Here is a way that you can take action and spread the word:

"If you've seen videos of the annual Canadian seal slaughter, it's easy to get super sick to your stomach and angry. Instead of just getting angry, take action. The seals need you to speak up for them! Click here to find out how!"

Sharing this video to spread more awareness about this issue again. It's really hard to imagine that people can be so barbaric. We just couldn't put up pictures cause it's really quite painful to look at so thought a funny video would be better to use.

Designer Review: Matt & Nat

"As has been the case since our humble beginnings, our line is cruelty-free, using no animal products. Veganism has been proven to be one of the most effective ways to fight global warming."

While shopping for bags we accidentally discovered this designer and as soon as we read the description on their tag and that all their bags are vegan we had to get it right away

Serbian Teacher Saves 500 Dogs

"Never doubt that just one person can make a difference. If you see an animal in trouble, get involved. Your actions can save lives." - Michelle Sherrow (Author of the article)

Here's a story of how a single compassionate act possibly saved the lives of 500 dogs. So the next time you encounter an animal that's in trouble don't just walk away presuming there's nothing that you can do single handedly because this story will definitely prove otherwise.

Seal Slaughter - How you can help

Just visited the PETA website and read the story about the seal slaughter. Basically around this time of year harp seals migrate down to the coast of Canada from Greenland to give birth. During this time hundreds of thousands of seals are literally beaten to death for their fur and baby seals stand almost no chance of escaping this. Some of them are skinned alive, their eyes are hooked to drag them etc. All in all this inhuman practice should be put to an end.  On the upside the latest article on the website states that the demand for these products has decreased because of the ban on seal products by the U.S and the European union as well as Canadian supporters.

Please visit this link where you will find a composed letter that you could edit and forward to all your friends and family. This absurd inhuman practice needs to stop. No living creature deserves to be slaughtered like this so we should all do our part at trying to help!
